Compatibilty for AIR-ANT2451NV-R=

Hi,

A customer needs (5) AIR-AP1252AG-A-K9 access points and is asking for the AIR-ANT2451NV-R= compatibility. I get an error when trying to add the antena in Dynamic Configurator and CCW also.

The customers needs 802.11 a/g/n  service. Are both products compatible?

From looking at:

It would appear that they are compateble.  What error are you getting in the DCT?

The error message is:

Cisco Configuration Tool

Product Not Found

The item AIR-ANT2451NV-R= you have entered is not a valid option for this model.  Please check your entry and try again.

The configuration tool link is:

Maybe you can try to see if you get same error. The product I'm trying to configure is AIR-AP1252AG-A-K9.

ANT2451NV is compatible with the 1252 ... as long as you have both radio modules.

I Think this product number includes both radios, or not?

that part AIR-AP-1252AG-A-K9, is for both radios.  I'm having issues with my account, so I am not able to access the DCT, but I would try the part number as AIR-ANT2451NV-R, leave off the "="

I now have the response from Cisco Support:

"AIR-ANT2451NV-R= is not included on the antenna options though for AIR-AP1252AG-A-K9 configuration on DCT. It is supported on AP 1252AG with Cisco IOS Release 12.4(21a)JA1 based on the document that i sent you. AIR-ANT2451NV-R= has to be ordered separately.
