Hello team,

We are trying to configure an Access Point 9115 as an Embedded Wireless Controller (EWC)

But when we try to download the firmware for WC, we are not able to complete the download via TFTP

> Firmware: C9800-AP-universalk9.17.06.01

Follow the log of the access point CLI:

It may take a few minutes. If longer, please abort command, check network and try again.

Hi

Take a look on this command:

wireless ewc-ap ap ap-type ap-name {capwap | ewc}

I think  you should convert it first.

Hello Team,

Finally we detected that the TFTP was failing because a wrong vlan setting, that prevent to the AP to get the file from the TFTP

Thanks so much

Thanks for posting your solution.  For me, with FTP or TFTP, I always try to send files to test everything is working and validating what folder the files are uploaded to.  I too have ran into issue, either the login changed, the server is not responding or disabled or a FW issue.
