Hello all,
I am confused about the cisco docs:
What is the minimum WLC/WCS version to support WISM2 controllers ?
The datasheet of WISM2 says "minimum 7.0.116.0"
However the release notes of 7.0.116.0 do not mention the WISM2 module ?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn7_0_116_0.html
The release notes of 7.0.220.0 do mention the WISM2:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn7_0_220_0.html
I need to be absolutely sure as there are other software dependencies between 7.0.116.0 and 7.0.220 (regarding required MSE and Aeroscout versions).
With WCS 7.0.172.0 and WLC 7.0.116.0, will we have WISM2 support ?
regards,
Geert

I just noted that WISM2 is indeed mention in the introduction, but not in the section "Cisco Unified Wireless Network Solution Components" on page 2

116 does run on both however anything later than that will require wism2. I have both wism and wism2 in production.
