Hi
How can i connect my laptop (11n supported) to LAP 1252 with WLC 7.0.116.0?
Status: 11a enabled on wlc
DCA channel list in 11a on wlc is showing only 149 153 157 161 channels.

the only thing you can do on the WLC is enable band select, this will 'infuence' the client to connect on the 5GHz band.

but other than that, you'd have to change settings on teh cleint itself.

Depends if your wireless NIC can support 802.11a.

Also make sure you have all 3 antennas on the 5 ghz module ..

I might as well chime in also:)

Are you worried that only those 4 channels are showing up in the DCA tab? If so, make sure you also have uni-1 and uni-2 bands also checked. Don't enable uni-2 extended.
