hi!,
I'm kind a new on this "converged access" mode of configuration and I have a few questions...
My scenario: 2 wlc (5508 software 7.6) working on HA on site A.... normal deploy of wireless on that site (nothing new)... Site B with 3650 switches that will be mobility agents connected to the main controller in SITE A (thats the new for me)...
As i know, the APs needs to be connected directly to the 3650, and the AP will be registed to that switch in order to managing locally the CAPWAP.
Question: To start a simple wlan configuration, do i need to create the SSID on the WLC and every switch? or the configuration will be replicated from the WLC?
thanks in advance...

Here is my suggestions.
Ensure one of 3650 on site B act as MC & others as MA (if you have multiple 3650 on that site). Do not use site A 5508 as MC for site B 3650 MAs. (from AireOS 8.1 onward this is not going to work). Follow this document for some design guidelines
In converged access all MA switches should have same WLAN configurations. From 3.7.x code onward you can use PI template to push this configuration. In previous IOS-XE codes it has to do via manual configuration (GUI or CLI)

Thanks sr, but i need to use the 5508 as a MC because that WLC has all the licences for the new APs for the site B.

If there is no any other option you can start with like that. but you have to get a 3650 with some AP license & make it MC going forward.
Keep your 5508 with 8.0.x code in order to support this MC role.
