Today, I received a complaint that the speed of an apple laptop connecting to the AP is low. Log in to the WLC and see the following data. What's the situation

Hello,

Can you check the power transmit level for this Access Point AP-27?

It can be a problem of asymetric transmit power level between the end device and the AP.

The AP seems to have a strong signal from the client but the end device may received a low signal from the AP.

Do you have problem with other devices in the same zone?

power level is 5

yes other device also

macbook is very  very hard in my office

I am not talking about a MBP.  Look for any other device and see if the behaviour is the same:  Different OS, different platform, etc.

The objective is to first determine if the issue is client-based issue or a widespread WiFi issue.

mac os a lot of problem , windows is very good, this is my testing result.

Replicate the issue using a different wireless client
