Hi All,

I have an issue were by it's been reported that devices are dropping off the wireless infrastruture intermittentlly, it can happen anytime of the day or night. Users have the issue for week then not for weeks.  This is effecting laptops and other wireless devices (i.e. terminals RF Guns).

The issue doesnt effect one site or area.

I have ran the sh client detail <client Mac-address> and can see a device has been connected for 12155secs but when I speak to the user they say they have had 3-4 disconnections in that time frame.

is there any other debugs I can put on the controller to help see any issues.

O sorry forgot to say we have a 5508 controller and a mixed of 1702, 1242, 1142, 1132 AP's.

Thanks

Dave

What radio are these clients connected on?  2.4 Ghz?

Hi,

I think the most of the clients will be on 2.4GHz

Thanks

Dave

Dave,

If you need our help "I think" is not a valid answer.  It is not our responsibility to find out the answer to a simple question like this.

Hi

Sorry yes the client are on 2.4GHz.

Thanks

Dave

And clients on the 5.0 Ghz are not experiencing these so-called drop-outs?
