Hello,

Yes that vesion of software on the wlc will support the 1262, but the version of software on teh 1262 is autonomous. You will need to upgrade the 1262 to the lightweight version of code.

With the WLC, it's not if the hardware supports the AP, but if the software running on it does.

7.2.103.0 supports the 1262, so it should be able to join.

Looking at the AP software, you have an autonomous AP (k9w7), not a lightweight (k9w8).

You'll need to go and download the recovery image for that AP model and load it so that it can join the WLC.

Hi,

latest is supported for both 2500 and 1260  "7.3.101.0" but your version is also supported all you have to do is  convert your AP to LWAPP https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-14960

to get k9w8 image download it from Cisco.com under lightweight access point software.

without upgrading your AP to LWAPP, they will not join.
