Hi,

I am trying to free up some space on my 2602i AP. Is there a way to free up some flash space for the autonomous code?

I was trying to convert my 2602i to autonomous, but I got this message during the extracting

extracting ap3g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB3a/ap3g2-k9w7-xx.152-4.JB3a (12656311 bytes)Error writing flash:/ap3g2-k9w7-mx.152-4.JB3a/ap3g2-k9w7-xx.152-4.JB3a (Not enough space on device)

This is what I have in flash

If the AP has been booted up with the lightweight code, the archive command is scalable if you issue a debug capwap console CLI.

yeah, you can get rid of the old images.

personally when I update an ap I use the /force-reload /overwrite options.  the /o will clear the old images out.

For some reason, the archive command worked. It was not available when I yesterday. Does the AP need to be connected to the WLC for the archive command to appear?

Stephen and Scott thanks for all the helpful info.

I got the AP in autonomous now.
