GLC-SX-MMD transceivers for 5520 WLCs

Hi all,

I'm reading through the 8.1 deployment regarding support for the GLC-SX-MMD transceivers and see a footnote that says if you use these transceivers you need a GLC-T (Copper) transceiver on Port 1. Is this really the case? There's two ports on the 5520 so that'd mean there's a copper transceiver on port 1 and the GLC-SX-MMD transceiver on port 2. Is anyone running a 5520 with two GLC-SX-MMDs?

Early versions of the 8.1 had bugs when using SFP.  So read the Release Notes first.
