High CPU on 2921 with EHWIC card

Hi,

I am getting the following error message on a Cisco 2921 as a result of which has a there is 99 % CPU util. This router has the following cards installed and 4G WWAN EHWIC is running 15.1(4) M3 image.

EHWIC_CELL_MSG-1-EHWIC_ERROR_EVENTS: eHWIC Error Event: TxCLK PLL lost lock, HWIC slot 3

Anybody encountered the same error message ?

Hi Pranay,

High cpu utilization is usually due high broadcast traffic that hits the device. You can use packet capture to verify.

If it is the case then try to isolate vlans that causes the broadcast to the device.
