How can I limit SSIDs broadcast on an AP? WLC2504 v8.5

It's been so long since I worked on this 2504 I think I've forgotten everything I knew...

I have several SSIDs broadcast on all APs. Using default config on everything for the most part. All are currently part of the "default-group". I need to only broadcast one of the SSIDs on one of the APs. The only part I've done so far is create an new AP group. What are the next steps for migrating the SSID from the "default-group" AP group to the newly created one?

WLC 2504 v8.5.161.0, using GUI.

Create New WLAN / SSID, then You need to create a new AP Group , add what SSID need to in that AP group. Move the AP to that Group.

when you doing this AP will be rebooting.

example :

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi

You dont actually migrate the SSID. The SSID exist besides the AP group level. What you can do is add the SSID to one or more AP group.

All SSID from 1 to 16 will be part of the default group by default . SSID with ID 17 will not be advertised by default AP group.

So, if you dont want a SSID to be advertised by the default AP group, you can creat it with ID 17 or higher.

Those SSID from 17 and higher need to be added to a created AP group otherwise they will not be advertised.

this gives good explanation for configuration
