How do I find out if LEAP wireless config is using 802.1x?

I am kind of lost on this:

If I am using LEAP as authentication mechanism, am I automatically using 802.1x?

On my Windows XP, I look onto the "Aironet Client Utility" I see no information on 802.1x there.

I have configuration of access points handy here and I would appreciate if you call tell me in which line of the Access Point configuration I could determine whether there is a 802.1x configuration.

Also, when I logon onto my WIndows XP, I noticed a windows message pop up saying something about "...802.1x". However I can't read the message because it disappears very quickly though.

Thanks much !

LEAP is a part of the 802.1x framework.

You can tell if you are using 802.1x when you see this:

ssid tsunami

authentication open eap eap_methods

authentication network-eap eap_methods

Further on down the config you'll see:

radius-server host 1.2.3.4 auth-port 1645 acct-port 1646 key **********
