most servers today stop their fans or at least slow them down once the OS has successfully booted. how do we do this on the WLSE?

There is no way to do this manualy. Are you sure that the fan is not bad making too much noise?

I agree... The fans on the appliance are very noisy!
Never saw a way to slow them down. Seems like there should be an environmental monitor process that should do that?
