How to auto renew the letsencrypt server for WLC 9800-CL

anyone use letsencrypt certificate for WLC 9800-CL?

I managed to import the letsencrypt cert using CLI, but from CSR and step by step, but after 3 month, what can do? redo all the step again? 

There is GUI to import, but does it really work?

others had the same question -> the WLC itself has no such function
but look at this discussion with a possible solution using automation external from the WLC.
