Hello there!
I currently have a 9800 WLC and now we'd like to enable/configure aWIPS on the network only on three APs.
My doubt here is, do we need to configure a Rogue Policy? it is necesary?
If anyone knows what the correct process is to configure aWIPS, could you please share it?
I found this information on the Cisco web site.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Do you have DNAC ? As you can see on the requirements, you need DNAC:
The aWIPS solution comprises the following components:
Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controller
Cisco Aironet Wave 2 APs
Cisco DNA Center
Because the aWIPS functionality is integrated into Cisco DNA Center, the aWIPS can configure and monitor WIPS policies and alarms and report threats.

Yes, we have DNAC,
so basically the most configuration should be set up on DNAC centre?

Yes but you need to follow that guide as you also have config on the WLC.
Then take a look on the DNAC part
