I purchased AIR-AP2802E-A-K9 access points for my warehouse along with AIR-ANT2566D4M-R external antennas.

Must I also purchase the DART smart antenna connector for my external antenna to work or can I just remove the existing short omni-directional antenna that comes with the unit and plug the external connectors from the AIR-ANT2566D4M-R?  The connectors all seem to be the same - RP-TNC.  Let me know.

Check the data sheet. It depends on if you want to connect a second antenna:
