It should work for FC Central Switching, but not FC Local Switching. And this is to give the clients addresses. APs can never get an address from a WLC DHCP Pool.
Exactly its for dishing out IP addresses to client. What do you mean by FC Central Switching and local switching. We have all remote sites AP's connecting to WLC at Head Office running in Flex connect mode. Will it work for clients connected at those remote sites.
