Greetings.
I upgraded a 1200 from vxWorks to IOS, then upgraded IOS to version 12.2(13)JA1.
http access to the device gives a text based web page & when you select Web Conslole, the page gives the following:
404 Not Found
The requested URL /ap_home.htm was not found on the server.
I've tried everything...anyone run into this?

I ran into the same problem on two APs. After working with TAC, had to RMA both of them.

I dont understand why Cisco does spend the time to fix the problem they caused. What I mean is I got the same problem on two of my 1200 ap's.Cisco told me to RMA the unit!!!
I did not accept the easy way out, at least for cisco, and got it fixed after some research.
FIRST OF ALL THIS PROCEDURE IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
STEP ONE
Download the IOS tar file from cisco, save it to your drive.
STEP TWO (set baud rate)
Use hyperteerminal and connect to the ap on the console port.
At the prompt type:
set_baud 57600 (this will disconnect the terminal session, to reconnect change your terminal session baud from 9600 to 57600.)
After reconnecting you will need to upload the tar file to your flash.
STEP THREE (upload the tar to mem)
copy xmodem:filenameoftar flash:filenameoftar
push enter then on the top menu in hyperterminal select "transfer" then "send" and browse for the tar you just downloaded, make sure the protocol is xmodem then hit send.
This process will take awhile.
STEP FOUR
Now you need to extract the tar.
At the prompt type:
tar -extract flash:filenameoftar flash:
This will start the extraction process. It will take awhile to extract.
STEP FIVE (reboot)
After extraction is completed. Reboot the device.
USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
