Is Controller IDS required to be disabled whlie we have MSE with WIPS enabled?

Hello Experts,

It is understood that the signatures and attacks identified by MSE running WIPS service would be atleast 10 folds that of WLC.

However would we run into any issues if one wants to have both Controller IDS and Adaptive WIPS enabled simultanously?

No you wont i believe.

The traffic flow is AP to WLC to MSE, so they should all end up at the MSE.

there is nothing in the deployment guide advising to turn off the IDS on the WLC
