Is there any probe facility in Cisco APs?

Hello All,

presently I am using Cisco AP Aironet 1100. 802.11

allows the clients to probe for a network. Is there

any possibility with Cisco AP to answer to the probe

request? Is there any possibility to send a different

SSID for probe response?

The probe request is nswered automatically by the AP, it basically depends on the signal strength. I am not sure but there are certain prameters that can be tuned so that certain P always answers a probe.
