issue with 1250 dhcp server only giving IP's to 1 ssid and not another

Hi there,

I had my 1250 set up to use Radius auth and act as a dhcp server to it's wireless clients. I now have a wireless camera that I wanted to add to the mix but it does not support Radius (EAP) so I've got it configured for WPA2-PSK. When trying to set up the new auth mode via the web gui, I was told I need a separate SSID and ultimately a separate VLAN.

The goal is to have the wireless camera pull an IP from the Pool like the rest of the clients. I can see the camera associate with the AP but it does not get an IP.

Aside from the default VLAN, I've created a new VLAN for the camera (VLAN13) and tried to set up bridging but to no avail. Currently, I have one dhcp pool.

Any thoughts / guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rick

But what about assigning a device on the other VLAN with a static

IP?

Static should work

I've tried that but the camera does not register its ARP

Assing the Ip address between 192.168.20.129 - 254 and see if that helps.. i think this not gonna work till we have VLAN 13 Ip address some where in the networ with network connectivity..

or

Configure the pool on the FIrewall and see if that helps..

In my update this morning, I removed the dhcp scope and just have one scope /24. I have tried to assign the device an IP that is in the dhcp excluded range. I don't see where to assign an IP to VLAN13. I'll have a look through the docs to see if I can find the commands. I tried what I thought before but they weren't supported.
