Issue with Apple TV

We are having issues with wireless clients accessing wired Apple TV devices.

Current environment:

  1. WISM2 installled in a Cat6807XL configured for VSS.
  2. Sup modules are Sup2T
  3. WLC running 8.0110
  4. Apple TVs are on wired network
  5. Wired VLANs are trunked to WLC
  6. Wireless clients can see all of the Apple TV devices.
  7. When wireless client tries to use Apple TV device by entering onscreen code, nothing happens.

Any thoughts on what the issue might be?

Thanks.

Don

well the WLC mDNS feature is in charge of informing the wireless clients about the service providers (e.g. apple TV) , right after that all the communication is normal unicast communication , so if you have issue only with apple TV , then this is client or TV issue , it's not related to the cisco devices,

you can confirm that by doing pings from he client to the TV,
