For redundancy improvement, we will connect an AIR-CT5508 and AIR-CT5508-HA against two CAT WS-C2960X Flex stacked switches (a cross stack LAG for each 5508). According “Cisco Wireless Controller Configuration Guide, Release 8.0: (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-0/configuration-guide/b_cg80.pdf ) cross-stack it is supported for CAT6500. Could someone confirm if this is also possible for the WS-C2960X Flex stacked?. Page 527 said: “…you can connect a controller in LAG mode to only one neighbor device.”. Thanks in advance.
The answer is YES. Confirmed from Cisco Virtual Enginering. Also confirmed from a LAB using two AIR-CT5508 (8.0.140.0) and two stacked ws-c2960x-24ts (C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.2(2)E5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2).
