LAPs don´t answer to ping

hello,

we are detecting the next problem with LAP and WLC controller. Sometimes LAPs don´t answer to ping but they can receive orders from WLC, for example, reload command. When we reload them, they start to answer ping.

This problem happens when there is some momentary  lost of communications between LAP and WLC. Is there any way to reload LAP when that happens?

If the APs are in local mode and can't reach the WLC, the AP will start the discovery process and eventually reboot.

I would suggest you to reconfigure your LAP and if problem still persist try to upgrade the IOS of LAP.
