License in HA SSO WLC with 7.3 version

Hi,

We are looking at deploying two 5508 in new HA SSO scheme with version 7.3, now our actual scenario is  a wlc primary and secondary with 100 ap license each one. In this new scenario the two licenses are added in 200 ?

Hi,

1. for the HA software used, please go for 7.4.110.0 NOT 7.3

2.the license on the secondary will not be added to the primary, the way it works, you buy either an HA-SKU  part number WLC, or a normal 5508 WLC with 50 AP base license, you will lose the 100 license on the secondary, and will end up with only 100 AP license.

the document says: "The WLC configured as Secondary will not use its own installed license, and only the inherited license from the active will be utilized".
