We have AIR-AP1815T-A-K9 deployed in OEAP Teleworker Mode (WPA2 Enterprise AES) and the maximum throughput I can get is 200 Mbs download and 300 Mbs upload (tried wireless and wired LAN 1 port). There is no other throttling or bottle neck in the Network. The home network is capable to 1Gb (tested and verified).
Is the maximum hardware capability of AIR-AP1815T-A-K9 200 to 300 Mbs ?

That is a pretty good speed for a low-end AP.

Remember you're doing data DTLS (encrypted CAPWAP data on UDP port 5247) for OEAP so, like any connection with encryption, is going to be limited by the hardware and software encryption capability. The Cisco config guides have a very clear warning about this albeit without specific numbers:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-9/config-guide/b_wl_17_9_cg/m_data_dtls.html
Note: The throughput is affected for some APs that have data encryption enabled.
https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3650/software/release/3se/consolidated_guide/configuration_guide/b_consolidated_3850_3se_cg_chapter_01010000.html
Encryption limits throughput at both the switch and the access point,
Note the reference to switch above is referring to the WLC.

Thanks. I knew that there would be a limitation due to the encryption but I wanted to know what the limitation would be for the AIR-AP1815T-A-K9 Access Point. I assume Cisco would have tested this in the lab and would know this specification. Wanted to see/confirm if other community users have noticed this 200 Mbs download and 300 Mbs upload limitation or seen some documentation from Cisco. The additional information provided by Rich R is appreciated.
