maximum ap height for warehouses?

what the maximum height for an ap where i can still could get good signal? because warehouses tend to have very high ceilings

Rule of thumb is 20’-25’ maximum for access points with internal antennas. With external antenna models, it depends on the antenna you want to use. Typically this is decided and verified during a site survey.

Wireless in warehouses are the most difficult environment to implement wireless.  There are so many ways to get this wrong but there is only a handful ways to get this right.  

And because of this, I strongly recommend getting a wireless site survey done by a professional.  

Testing is your best, but yes, you can go out or norms. We have Omni  APs at 30-35ft in one of our warehouses without issues.
