Mobility tunnel between C9800 WLC and AireOS WLC

Hi all,

I'm attempting to build a mobility tunnel between an AireOS virtual wireless controller (8.8.130) and a C9800 virtual wireless controller ( 16.12.1s).  Are these models and software images compatible for creating a mobility tunnel?

The link below mentions 8.8 MR2. But I'm not sure what actual code version is for MR2.

I'm trying to build this config example in my lab, but the GUI fields on the AireOS WLC don't match up on the mobility group configuration pane. There is no secure mobility nor data tunnel encryption option to select.

 i dont thing it is possible. According to the following link, Mobility Tuunel is suported with:

Cisco 3504

Cisco 5520

Cisco 8540
