We are deploying a new wireless environment with one centralized 9800 cloud controller and 200+ different locations with anywhere from 3 to 40 APs at each site. We would like to make the deployment as simple as possible. We plan to have two SSIDs - one will be secure for our employees and would like for it to be FlexConnect so the local wireless clients would get the same DHCP address as the wired LAN clients. The other SSID would be for guest access and we would like for that to be centralized via a CAPWAP tunnel through the controller. All of these guest clients would pull an IP address from the same IP pool across the state (10.10.160.0 255.255.240.0). We have various VLAN IDs across our current network with no standardization of any kind.
From all I have read, this configuration sounds like it will require unique configuration in the controller for each of our 200 remote locations. Is that true, or is there an easier way to set this up?
Thanks in advance,
Don
