No ip-address with cisco 3650 switches with MA

In one of our offices we have implemented Cisco 3650 switches with the wireless mobility agent configured. Certain clients when connecting to the wireless network, don't receive an ip address. They get a 169.*.*.* address and aren't able to work on the network or connect to the internet. When the same client goes to another office and connect to the same wireless network it immediately connects and gets an ip-address. The only difference at this office is that we won't work with the cisco 3650 switches with mobility agent enabled on it. Here they connect to a cisco 5760 controller at our datacenter. 

 

Does anybody have an idea what is causing this problem. Is it on the 3650 switches or maybe an issue on the client device itself?

Or maybe an idea on how to troubleshoot this further?

Have you enabled DHCP snooping on the vlan you map to WLAN on your 3650 when it operate as MA ?

No dhcp snooping is not enabled.

I have attached a debug session with one of the clients that is not working.

I have configured dhcp snooping and it looks like that solved the issue.
