dear All,
hope you all are doing well.
i have one query, we have a one wireless setup having Cisco 5508 WLC and 180 numbers of Cisco 1702i AP.
this is centralized setup all APs are installed at different location or we can say installed at different cities.
setup has been a month all were working fine but recently client informed us that at some location Access points are not showing the SSIDs.
AP LED status Red,Blue & Green alternately blinking.
we tried to ping from the AP to WLC vice versa, the result was successful.
Reset and reboot the AP but no solution.
please help me to resolve this.
why this is happening ? Where is the issue ?

check the AP groups on WLC.
Maye be these AP are assigned to diff. AP group.

Hello,
When you see the blinking we call that in the hunt. The AP gets an IP address, which is why you can ping. Then the AP blinks those lights cause it trying to find the WLC.
How are you set up to allow the AP to find the controller?
