No SSID shown

Hello. I have a linksys WRT54GH access point. The problem is that it is showing SSID to some devices and not to others. Devices which can see the SSID can't connect to the network. I have tried a factory reset but no help. Can I do something about it? Or I should throw it and buy a new one?

As per the below document this is only operate in 2.4GHz band  & supports 802.11b/g standards. (refer appendix B in page 24)

So make sure your end client supports connectivity in 2.4GHz radio band.

I have checked the specifications of all clients. All support 802.11 b/g/n and 2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz  both.
