Hello
I'm seeking documentation and advice regarding Cisco’s power supply standards and recommendations for deploying OEAP devices into a mobile vehicle environment.
I’ve got about 70 ambulances that need an OEAP 1810 installed with correct power supply. These need to be hot: always powered on. The ambulance inverter is set on a timer, so I’d like to utilize a hot DC power socket, but I need to know if this is a supported, or documented method before proceeding.
I haven't found anything in the Getting Started Guide, but I may have overlooked something.
Thanks for the help

I think you should look at 1815T instead of 1810. Pls check with cisco AM on product selection
Here is 1815t datasheet (it require 48V DC port to connect AIR-PWR-D)

I see from other discussions that the 1815 draws less power. It also seems that it's recommended since it will have a longer product lifespan.
It also has a drawback of not providing a console port. It requires a dongle.
