outdoor access point gets slower at night

Hello all,

 

May i have some hints on why the outdoor AP cisco Aironet 3702e gets slower at night please?

With this lack of information, I would not even know where to start.  

I agree with Leo, that there is very little information in your post.

 

But some general hints

- is this AP used outdoor? -> check if antenna + connectors are properly sealed from environment

- is this AP used with a WLC?  -> check if there are some scheduled tasks that change settings to limit misuse of this AP at night.

 - check the logs on AP and/or WLC

- check the client 

- check if behavior  is different on 2.4GHz or 5GHz band

- check RF interference at night

what are you using to determine that it is slower and do you have historical information to indicate this?

Wifi is slower still means the wireless is working.
