Hi all
I have a WPA / PEAP network which runs fine, machines authenticate pre login fine then the user.
The issue is when the laptops go into standby, they loose the wireless link and machine re-authentication fails with the ACS message "SSL handshake failure"
Once they logoff/on machine authentication works fine.
I am using Dell lattitude laptops with centrino with XP and SP2.
It sounds like a microsoft issue, but has anyone else had this problem, and if so how have you sorted it.
Thanks in advance
Colin

Well, we are running the same "solution" and it works just fine here..
Works just fine when the laptop goes in standby.
We are running xpsp2 on a hp6220laptop with WPA/PEAP auth.

Are you using PEAP,MS-CHAP.. or PEAP,GTC?
Because this is working just fine with GTC
Microsoft has a fix KB885453 adressing XP-SP2 problems with 3.party AAA servers like ACS.

Also take a look at these hotfixes. They solved some other issues with MS-Chapv2 auths. Not sure it GTC is affected by the sp2 change with radius. But check it out non-the-less. Hope this helps.
