port connected to radio

hi guys. 

i have a cisco  2960G-24Tc-l that connected to radio. occasionally the Communication port downed and lose its connection but the radio is on without any problem. the debugging cli only show that the port is shutting down. 

i resolve this problem by removing the cable from switch and reloading the switch and putting the cable to switch. 

is the problem in switch or in cable?

i suggest it s in switch.

what logs you see on the console ?

can you post below information where the port connected :

show run interface gig x/x  ( change this to where it connected port number)

show interface gig x/x

Before rebooting the switch, post the complete output to the following commands: 

1. sh version
2. sh interface status error
3. sh interface <PORT>
