Problem Joining AIR-CAP1602I-C-K9 with WLC 5508

Hi,

I am having trouble to get AIR CAP1602I-C-K9 attached to a 5508 WLC running code 7.4.110.0

Here is what I got from the AP logs:

Configured Country............................... US  - United States

Your AP has the wrong REGULATORY DOMAIN. 

This is why the AP won't join the WLC.  Your AP has the regulatory domain of "-C" which is countries like Pakistan, China, Indonesia, Macau, etc.  Your WLC is set for US.

Did you check u hv configured AP policies on ur WLC? What is "show auth-list" output looks like on ur WLC?
If so u need to add AP eth MAC on to this list.

Ok, if you did, can you please post the output to the WLC command "sh sysinfo"?

1.Please remove the old image from AP.

Connect Console cable into the AP and run the command "delete /f /r flash:ap1g2-k9w8-mx.152-2.JB2" and try again.

2. Please reboot the WLC(before reboot please save the config with right regulatery domain)

Hi all,

it seems the code/firmware of the WLC is corrupted,

i try to join the AP to another 5508 WLC with same configuration (regulatory domain=ID) and it joins smoothly..
