Processor size on the 3845 router??

Can someone do a show version on a 3800 series router and tell me what the processor size says.

Our 3640 is strained at the moment and if more mem won't alleviate the CPU usage. I think we may have to upgrade. The 7000 would probably be overkill.

Processor size/speed != throughput.

If you're using fast/CEF switching the 3640 should have a max throughput of 25Mbps. If you're using process switching, it's closer to 2Mbps.

The 3825 max is around 179Mbps, and the 3845 max is around 250Mbps.

If you're already using CEF on the 3640, an upgrade to a 3800 should make a huge difference.

I feel that it could be better to upgrade the IOS to seems good , because it might be a bug and it will cause the full strain of the router.
