Solved: Reset the AP2802 password

Hello everyone,

I've forgotten the console password for my AP2802, and I'd like to reset it without losing the configuration. Is this possible?

If the AP is in LWAP mode (controller joined) you can update the AP Join Profile (9800 WLC).

If in Mobility Express then not possible

Always recommend taking backups of config, and saving passwords to a password vault (even lab passwords)

The AP is in Mobility Express mode, in this case, I have no choice but to reset the AP. Thanks a lot for your responses.
