I noticed that centrino with a centrino radio card could not connect themselves on a AP configured to make use of channel 13. By modifying this channel with value 10 (I believe) or less, that functions.
I found nothing which limits the radio frequencies on the centrino.
Do you have an idea? Stéphane.

Hi Stephane,
it could be that the Centrino card is an American channel set which covers channels 1 - 11. ETSI channel sets cover channels 1 - 13.

I am not sure if you can change the channel set yourself. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Cisco you cant change it yourself. I am not sure with Intel
