Roaming between 5 and 2.4 Bands

Folks,

We have a warehouse environment. We are advertising the SSID over both the bands(requirement).

What we noticing is that when a user roams sometimes he is connected to the A band and sometime to the B band and when the transition happens he loose a couple of ping packets. What can be done to improve the roaming between bands. Using singe band is not possible. Band select is enabled on the Wlan.

Band select might be the reason for the problem you are seeing. This will cause delays if the client tries to connect to the 2.4GHz although he should have a strong enough signal for 5 GHz.
I suggest to test it with this feature disabled on the SSID.
You are testing the Ping from Client -> Server or in the other direction?

>From the client to the sever. How about I enable 802.11v,r,k for the WLAN?

Those are features, which have to be supported on the client. If they aren't, or even if they are, they can cause additional compatibility issues.

I have 11k enabled, but disabled "Assisted Roaming Prediction Optimization". I only send the neighbor list.

Did you try with disabled band select?
