I need to script a silent installation for the Cisco Aironet card. Downloaded latest driver, Win-Client-802.11a-b-g-Ins-Wizard-v11.exe. Since this is an Installshield exe, I should be able to take the expanded setup.exe, run it with /r, and create a response file. When I run this setup.exe, the installation prompts for a Data2.cab file, which does not exist on the PC. When I run the downloaded EXE, the installation runs fine, but I need to creat a silent installation for the driver only, not the driver and utilities. Does anyone have experience scripting this installation? Than for any information.
