Can someone point me to documentation which shows how to setup a 1252 "A" radio for backhauling to another 1252?

You would configure the A radio just as any point-to-point bridge. Use the station-role root bridge or non-root bridge state for the configuration. Configure your interfaces and subinterfaces just as you normally would.

Pay attention to the dual-radio fallback. You'll definitely want to configure that.
