Hi there,
When i try so do a "snmpwalk -v2c -c community ip_address" it always gives me "SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)".
Even if i put some OID in front it gives me that.
Thanks.
Pedro.

Hi Pedro,
1. Verify if SNMPv2 is enabled:
(2504) >show snmpversion
SNMP v1 Mode.................................... Disable
SNMP v2c Mode.................................... Enable
SNMP v3 Mode.................................... Enable
2. Verify if it is allows to use the configured community from your client:
(2504) >show snmpcommunity
IPSec mode: Disabled - PSK/Main/group-14/28800/HMAC-SHA1/AES-256
SNMP Community Name Client IP Address Client IP Mask Access Mode Status
------------------- ----------------- ----------------- ----------- --------
ReadOnlyTest 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 Read Only Enable
3. Check if there is any firewall in the path which might block the SNMP traffic.

Thanks Freerk.
SNMP is working and everything is configured properly, but can't get snmpwalk to work with it.
Pedro.

How did you verify that "SNMP is working"? If you have checked the three earlier given points you should issue the "debug snmp all enable" command on the WLC during the SNMPwalk. If you post that output we can do some further troubleshooting.

Thanks Freerk.

I have 2 WLCs 2504 and I am facing the exactly same problem with SNMP and the same error code = 10 in both WLCs.
They were working earlier, but I am noticing this error since the 1 associated one of the 2 SSIDs on these boxes to another physical interface. On one of the boxes, I will try to revert the changes by associating the both the SSID with the same interface and see if that fixes the issue.

I reverted the settings and snmp started working. Here's what I reverted.
I have 2 SSIDs. Earlier both the SSIDs were using the managment port -1 on the WLC. At this time SNMP was working. I changed one of the SSID to another interface on the WLC (interface 2). The snmp from my monitoring server behind port-1 stopped working. I reverted the setting, that is configured the 2nd SSID to again use Port-1 and it started working.
Dont know any fix or workaround to this yet. Please help if anyone has a solution.
