Software Version 7.4.121.0 vs 7.6.120.0

Hi all,

I upgraded to the MD image of 7.4.121.0 about 2 weeks ago... it's cleared up some bugs that I ran in to my environment. A few minutes ago I got my new

3702 access points. And luck would have it version 7.4.121.0  does not support the new 3702 access points. The compatibility matrix shows u need to run version 7.6 up.

Has anyone run in to any issues running this code especially running bridges?

Hello, yes 7.6 is required. I beta tested early versions of 7.6 and the 3700 and just turned up a 99% wireless office with 175 users with 175 7925 phones all 3700s. So far so good. But our configs are pretty simple.

Hi,

If you have 3700 series AP then u must use 7.6.120 or higher version there is no alternative.

here is the release not for 7.6.120.0 . you can check caveats :

yes rightly pointed as for the 3700 series AP there is no option for you except to use the recommend Cisco Unified Wireless Network Software Release 7.6 or later

check the data sheet for reference

I have added the new code.. however I run into another issue where I preload the IOS to the access points

But that's another issue all together.
