Dear All,

We have this access point AIR-AP1231G-A-K9 for mobile users. current version is c1200-k9w7-mx.123-7.JA4. Sometimes users are able to associate but not getting IP address from dhcp. It shows 0.0.0.0 for the particular client. What could be the issue. ?

Thanks in advance.

Typically it's a network or dhcp issue. If your trunking multiple vlans, make sure the AP's switch port is all set to trunk and that each one is configured correctly. Usually you can tell because people will roam to one ap and loose connection.

1231 is a single-band radio (by default).  Maybe the client has lost signal or a nearby wireless interferrance could be causing issues.
