Strange error (%SIM-3-ARP_SND_FAIL) in logging

There is a rather annoying error in my AIR-WLC2112-K9. I upgraded to 5.1.163.0 and I changed 'ap-manager' and 'management' interfaces to untagged, but nothig helped. The only port that is connected is port 1.

The error is:

*Feb 10 20:24:47.744: %SIM-3-ARP_SND_FAIL: sim.c:872 Unable to send ARP Request. Local MAC: 00:23:5E:4D:4E:C0.Ip Addr: 4.3.168.192Interface # 1. Vlan Id: 0

*Feb 10 20:24:38.152: %SIM-3-ARP_SND_FAIL: sim.c:872 Unable to send ARP Request. Local MAC: 00:23:5E:4D:4E:C0.Ip Addr: 4.3.168.192Interface # 1. Vlan Id: 0

192.168.3.4 is the address of the management interface. ap-manager has 192.168.3.5

Please advise.

I believe I solved this myself, after quite some trial and error. The management interface had 0.0.0.0 configured as gateway (because the LAN it simply has no gateway).

I configured a non existing IP-address (192.168.3.3) instead and since then the error has disappeared.

I had this issue as well.  It started on the ME controller when I changed it's default gateway IP on the web interface.  Apparently it required a reload of the controller to clear.
