Hello,

I´d need to know what is the best Cisco solution nowadays to get a bridge between two offices with 35 meters between them. I'd like to know how to get the max.  speed, and what is the recommendation from Cisco. And If It is better a internal AP with antennas or a external AP with integrated antennas. The bridge will be only dedicated to link the two buildings.

Thanks in advanced.

You need two wireless bridges with external antennas(Directional).

Check this product: Aironet 1562E/ Aironet 1562D

I've read that this equipment doesn't have autonomous software and that leaves us with Mobility Express or WLC.

I also think that by now there is no Mesh support in ME? So only WLC left.

And by WLC I mean the real physical one, as I was told that vWLC wouldn't work?!?!

Can anyone validate this information?

ME doesn’t support mesh today. If your looking for a bridge solution then use an outdoor AP in autonomous. If you look at the software download section, to make sure there is an IOS image for that AP model.

This matrix will also show you the list of ME supported AP models.

And if I already have bought AP1560D? What are my options? Have you heard that vWLC with these APs is not a solution to bridge two sites?
