Trouble Updating Cisco 9120 AXI AP and EWC Image

I need to update the image for the 9800 EWC running on some 9120 AXI's so that newly purchased 9105's can join the active controllers. The Software Management tool is requiring me to supply an AP image as well before I can click the "activate" button to update the EWC. I am trying to provide it with ap1g7-k9w8-tar.153-3.JPK1.tar for Cisco's latest update to the 9120 AP, but it won't accept the file and instead I get an error: Invalid AP image. The AP image should be ap1g7. Documentation suggests this file should work. I'm clearly providing an ap1g7 file. What am I missing here?

=> ap1g7

Download the zip bundle, and then update them thru tftp, because http is only for when you have the same AP model.

For the EWC, it makes sense to have a separate server to download the files to the access points if you keep them up-to-date. It is even worth purchasing a 9800L so you do not have to worry about it.

Just a note, the 9120 uses ap1g7 and the 9105 uses ap1g8
